Day 1: Arrival in Xian
In the morning our guide will pick you up at Xian airport which is 33 miles away in the north of the city and transfer to the hotel. Visit the Bell Tower, Xi'an City Wall. Have a lunch in a nice restaurant. Enjoy special Dumpling Dinner in the evening. Check in the four stars hotel.
Xi'an Bell Tower On the busy streets in City of Xi'an, there is an ancient structure. In early morning of ancient times it had the mission of ringing the bell and giving the correct time to the whole city, called "The Bell Tower". This day-after-days time-given Bell Tower went through many dynasties. This tower became the symbol of Xi'an, ever since the date it was build. Due to its old age, many legends and anecdotes about the Bell Tower had been pass on from ancient times.
Day 2:Xi'an
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from the hotel; visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, in the afternoon visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum The Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. Work is ongoing at this site, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum, Lintong County, Shaanxi province. It is a sight not to be missed by any visitor to China.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda was originally known as Wulou Temple (literally no leaking) in the Sui dynasty. In the 21st year (647) of Emperor Zhenguan rein of Tang dynasty, Prince Li Zhi (who later succeeded to the thrown as Emperor Gaozhong) reconstructed the Temple into Grand Benevolence Temple in commemoration of his of his mother Empress Wan De.
Day 3: Xi'an
Today we will arrange you visit the Famen Temple in the morning, after lunch you will visit Qianling Mausoleum. If time permitted, we will arrange you visit free market in Xi'an City.
Famen Temple is situated at Famen Town, ten kilometers north of Fufeng County, Shaanxi Province, China. It is a famous Buddhist temple with a long history, and became a Holy Land of Buddhism because the finger bone relic of Sakyamuni was placed in it.
Day 4: Xian-Departure
After visit Shanxi Province History Museum, you will be escorted to the airport for your next destination.
Shanxi History Museum Shaanxi Province is the birthplace of the ancient Chinese civilization. Xian City was the capital city in thirteen dynasties which in total lasted over 1100 years. Consequently, the ancient history of Shaanxi is to some degree the ancient history of China. The Shaanxi History Museum considers it an obligation to be a showcase of ancient civilizations. It is situated in the southern suburb of Xian City, northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.Since it was opened to the public in 1991, its architectural buildings, internal apparatus, and exhibits have made it famous as a first-class museum in China.
