Day 1: Beijing Arrival
Upon your arrival, you will be met by the local guide and driver at the Beijing International Airport. Be driven to the downtown Beijing and check in the four stars hotel. Free explore Beijing in the rest time.

Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, we will drive you to the famous Badaling Great Wall. After hiking the Great Wall, you will visit Beijing Olympic Venue: China National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and China National Aquatics Center (Water Cubic).

Day 3: Beijing
In the morning, our guide will pick you up at the hotel; visit the Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City. After lunch, you will visit the Temple of Heaven.

Day 4: BeijingZhangjiajie City
Free in the morning until be driven to the airport for Zhangjiajie. You will be met by your English-speaking guide at the Zhangjiajie Airport and be driven to the Zhangjiajie downtown. Visit the free market in Zhangjiajie.

Zhangjiajie is a prefecture-level city in the northwestern part of Hunan province in China. Within it is located Wulingyuan Scenic Area which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 as well as an AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.

Day 5: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel. Visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Huangshi Fort. At night, you will be driven back to your hotel.(B, L)

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Located in the northwest of Wulingyuan, it is in the neighborhood of Suoxiyu Valley and Tianzi Mountain. It has an area of 72,000 acres, an average rainfall of 1200-1600mm, an average temperature of 16oC and a frost-free period of 240-300 days.

Huangshi Fort: named after a hermit Huangshi, is 1080m above sea level. It is higher on the south and elevated by stiff cliffs, covering an area of 16.5 hectors. It provides the largest collection of marvelous spectacles and also provides the larges sightseeing terrace above sea level in Zhangjiajie.

Day 6: Zhangjiajie Tianzi Mountain
After breakfast, you will visit Golden Whip Stream in the morning, then visit Tianzi Mountain and Suoxiyu Valley. At night, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Tianzi Mountain named after Xiang Dakun who led the local farmers' revolt and called himself Tianzi-the Son of Heaven. Bounded by Suoxi Valley on the east, Zhangjiajie on the south, Sangzhi County on the north, Tianzi Mountain is one of the four scenic zones in Wulingyuan.

Suoxiyu Valley, the center of Wulingyuan scenic zone. It covers an area of more than 180 square kilometers and is the largest of the three zones. Landform here is the same as Zhangjiajie and Tianzi Mountain, mainly making up of sandstone peaks.

Day 7: Zhangjiajie
A full day visit to the Yellow Dragon Cave and Tujia Folk Custom Park. (B, L)

Yellow Dragon Cave: Yellow Dragon Cave's name comes from a legend of a dragon that lived inside the cave, but it also seems to make reference to its monstrous size: the cave in Hunan province, southern China, reportedly covers over 100,000 square meters. Visitors often spend over two hours taking in its cavernous caverns, marveling at stalagmites and stalactites that are millions of years in the making.

The Tujia Folk Custom Park is a replica of a typical Tujia village. It was built in 2000 with the intention to introduce visitors to the customs and traditions of the Tujia ethnic minority.

Three Gorges
The Three Gorges of Yangtze River
The Three Gorges, or Yangtze Gorges region is a scenic area along the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang) in the People's Republic of China, which is classified as a AAAAA scenic area by the China National Tourism Administration.

Yangtze River, the biggest river in China,the third longgest in the World, starts with the Tuotuo River at the Roof of the World -Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, takes in countless rivers, and flows eastward across the interior of China. With an overall length of more than 6,300 kilometers, it marches permanently toward the East China Sea, singing the songs of the four seasons with its waves. The Yangtze River, next only to the Amazon and the Nile, is the third biggest river in the world and is a cradle that breeds the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation.

Day 9 Three Gorges Dam
Sail through Xiling Gorge; Early afternoon visit Three Gorges Dam site; Then sail through Three Gorges Dam ship locks (B, L, D)

Xiling Gorge: The longest among the Yangtze Gorges, Xiling Gorge stretches west to east for 76 kilometers from the mouth of the Xiangxi River at Zigui in Hubei Province to Nanjing Pass near the city of Yichang in Hubei. It is divided into two sections -- the west section consists of the Military Book and Sword Gorge, the Bull's Liver and Horse's Lung Gorge and Kongling Play Gorge, while the east section features the Shadow Play Gorge and the Yellow Cat Gorge, otherwise known as Yichang Gorge.

Except for a ship lift, the dam project was completed and fully functional as of July 4, 2012, when the last of the main turbines in the underground plant began production. Each main turbine has a capacity of 700 MW. The dam body was completed in 2006. Coupling the dam's 32 main turbines with two smaller generators (50 MW each) to power the plant itself, the total electric generating capacity of the dam is 22,500 MW.

The Three Gorges Dam is a hydroelectric dam that spans the Yangtze River by the town of Sandouping, located in Yiling District, Yichang, Hubei province, China. The Three Gorges Dam is the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW) but is second to Itaipu Dam with regard to the generation of electricity annually.

Day 10 Wu Gorge
Sail through Wu Gorge. Excursion to Daning River Small Gorges (B, L, D)

Wu Gorge, sometimes called Great Gorge, is the second gorge of the Three Gorges system on the Yangtze River, People's Republic of China. Formed by the Wu River, it stretches 45 kilometres (28 mi) from Wushan to Guandukou, and is located downstream of Qutang Gorge and upstream of Xiling Gorge. The gorge straddles the boundary between Wushan County of Chongqing Municipality (formerly part of Sichuan Province) and Badong County, Hubei Province.

The Small Three Gorges is one of the exciting and famous stops in the Yangtze Three Gorges. It is often called the "highlight" of the Yanzgte cruise, even the whole China trip. It always refers to the three separate valleys of the Daning River, namely "Dragon-Gate Gorge", "Misty Gorge" and "Dicui (Emerald) Gorge". These three gorges, with an area of 160 hectares of forest, lie on the lower reaches of Daning, extending from the entrance of the Dragon-Gate Gorge in the South to Tujiaba in the North for 50 km.

When the river flows out of Qutang Gorge and passes the broad valley of the Daning River, it enters the scenic Wuxia Gorge. Wuxia Gorge is 45 kilometers long, extending west to east from the mouth of the Danning River in Wushan County to Guandukou in Badong County, Hubei Province.

Day 11 Fengdu Ghost Town
Morning shore excursion to Fengdu, visiting either the "Ghost City" on Mingshan Hill, or the new relocation village for families who have moved as result of the Yangtze's rising waters brought about by the Three Gorges Dam (B, L, D)

Chongqing: Chongqing is a major city in Southwest China and one of the five national central cities in the People's Republic of China (PRC). Administratively, it is one of the PRC's four direct-controlled municipalities (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin), and the only such municipality in inland China.

Fengdu Ghost Town: The first stop of the Yangzte Cruise down-river from Chongqing is the Ghost City in the County of Fengdu. It is said that the Ghost City is where people checked in after their death. Anyone who wants to experience an atmosphere that awakens thoughts about the prospect of life after death should not miss it, as they will not be disappointed.

The Chongqing Chaotianmen Pier is located at the junction of the Yangtze River and Jialing River of the northeast of the city, one of the busiest ports in China, where is the starting point of Yangtze River Cruise. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and slopes down to the river on each side.

Day 12 Chongqing Shanghai
Disembark at Chongqing at 8:00 am; Visit Jiefangbei Shopping Street and Three Gorges Museum. Fly to Shanghai.
